Its rare that my husband and I have to hire a sitter since their grandmother usually watches them but occasionally we do and we are always clueless as to what to pay. So, you can imagine my excitement ;) while flipping through Kiwi Magazine when I came across a small article for a website called Sittercity.
The article advertised that Sittercity had a tool that would help you determine what to pay sitters. So, I checked it out and it is AWESOME! It is not only a site for childcare but also has pet sitting, housekeeping, tutoring and  elderly care should you need it. They have a database of people (put in zip code) for you to choose from for your needs with their qualifications, photos and whether or not they have a background check.  You can choose to interview and then hire whomever you decide. There are tips and tools for parents such as an interview checklist, a screening process and more! So much that you need to check it out!
